Farewell Party on the Viaduct
On January 11, 2019 at 10:00PM the Alaskan Way Viaduct in Seattle closed forever. Many people took a ceremonious last trip on the lower lever that evening to bid farewell and some to express their regrets. The top lever (northbound) was closed to traffic so people could party.
